On April 1, 2014, TransitCenter hosted a head-to-head competition for the best (hypothetical) transit system with some of the best transit minds in New York City. Teams competed on Mini Metro for two titles: “Longest Running Transit System” and “Most Riders Carried,” with teams from Riders Alliance and Open Plans prevailing in heated competition.”
