Transit Ridership Recipe

Cities from Nashville to Denver to Los Angeles are increasingly interested in building bigger and better transit systems, and in most cases would like to see more people riding transit. But attracting a strong user base is not simply a matter of “build transit and they will come.”

Today we’re excited to release TransitTools #2, a recipe for transit ridership. This tool describes the importance of speed, frequency, walkability and rider comfort, based on our 2016 Who’s On Board survey of over 3,000 transit riders.
