Un-Tangling Transit: Bus Network Redesigns

While cities have changed drastically in the last 50 years, their bus networks have not. In response, transit agencies across the country are reimagining their outdated systems and redesigning their bus networks.

Join TransitCenter and visiting city and transit agency staff to participate in this national conversation on Bus Network Redesigns. You will hear from a transit agency board member who spearheaded a completed redesign (Houston METRO), city staff who are knee-deep in the process (City of Richmond), and the second largest transit agency that is initiating a public conversation about making its bus system more relevant and useful (LA Metro). You’ll also learn about MTA’s new plans for Staten Island’s bus network.
