Zak Accuardi
Senior Program Associate

Zak tries to figure out why transit is so broken and what data and technology have to do with it. For example, he leads TransitCenter’s “Ridership Initiative”, an ongoing project designed to help understand why ridership is declining and what agencies can do about it, and he tries to help public agencies figure out what to do about the on-demand elephants in the room, including but not limited to Uber and Lyft.

He has a BS in earth and environmental engineering from Columbia University, and a MS in technology and policy from MIT.
