Kirk’s experience in transportation centers on demonstrating the impact of demand-side strategies. Whether teaching pedestrian safety education to second graders or promoting biking, walking and transit in his most recent position as the transportation programs coordinator for the City of Redmond, Washington, he focuses on the factors that shape how, when and why we choose to go from A to B. He joined TransitCenter as a program fellow in 2014.
Kirk holds a B.A. from the University of Washington and a Masters of Public Administration from NYU’s Wagner Graduate School of Public Service.
